Privacy Policy

The short version: ResumeBolt is a static web page. It has no backend, no database, and no analytics. Everything you type stays in your own browser.

What we collect

Nothing. There are no accounts, no sign-up forms, and no tracking scripts. We do not run analytics, set advertising cookies, or send your keystrokes anywhere.

Where your resume lives

Your resume content, templates, and settings are saved in your browser's localStorage under keys that start with resumebolt.. That data lives on your device only. Clearing your browser storage or using private browsing removes it. We never receive a copy.

The one network request

ResumeBolt makes exactly one outbound request, and only when you choose to unlock Pro. When you paste a Gumroad license key and press verify, your key and the product identifier are sent to Gumroad's license API (api.gumroad.com) so it can confirm the purchase. That is a direct call from your browser to Gumroad, governed by Gumroad's privacy policy. If you never enter a license key, this request never happens.

Payments

Purchases are handled entirely by Gumroad. We never see or store your card details. All we store locally is the license key you paste back, so the app remembers you unlocked Pro.

Children

ResumeBolt is a general-purpose tool and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. Since we hold no contact details, we cannot notify you directly — please check back if it matters to you.
